A biologist by training, I have always been interested in accurate verbal and graphic expression. As a visually oriented scientist, my strength is in cell and developmental biology. My mother tongue is German and my writing experience has been mainly in English. I am now a Certified Translator for EN-GE and GE-EN with Recognition of Specialization in Biomedical Sciences. I offer accurate, reliable translation services in the biomedical field to individuals, biomedical researchers, book publishers, patent lawyers, pharmaceutical companies and translation agencies.
Skills
Scientific translation from and into German and English. Editing and proofreading of publications for peer-reviewed journals.
Experience
Twenty-five years in biomedical research (15 in an English-speaking environment). Scientific translation since 1993.
